Content Policy
Last updated: March 16, 2026
1. Introduction and Scope
This Content Policy ("Policy") governs all content uploaded to, distributed through, or made available on the Monerixa platform ("Platform"), including but not limited to files, text, links, metadata, descriptions, titles, and any other materials submitted by users.
This Policy applies to all users of the Platform, including creators who upload content, buyers who purchase access, and any other individuals who interact with content on the Platform. By using the Platform in any capacity, you agree to comply with this Policy.
This Policy supplements and is incorporated into our Terms of Service. In the event of a conflict between this Policy and the Terms of Service, the more restrictive provision shall apply. Capitalized terms not defined herein have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.
Monerixa reserves the right to update this Policy at any time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
2. Allowed Content
Monerixa is designed for creators who want to monetize digital content using cryptocurrency payments. The following content types are permitted, subject to all other provisions of this Policy:
2.1 Files
Creators may upload files up to 100 MB in size, including but not limited to: documents (PDF, DOCX, TXT), images (PNG, JPG, GIF, SVG, WebP), videos (MP4, MOV, AVI, WebM), audio (MP3, WAV, FLAC, OGG), archives (ZIP, RAR, 7Z, TAR.GZ), code files, spreadsheets, presentations, e-books (EPUB, MOBI), fonts, design files, 3D models, datasets, and any other lawful digital file format.
2.2 Text Content
Creators may publish text content up to 50,000 characters, including but not limited to: articles, tutorials, guides, research papers, code snippets, prompts (AI, creative, or otherwise), recipes, notes, analysis, reviews, newsletters, course materials, and any other written or textual content.
2.3 Links
Creators may share links to external resources, including but not limited to: private URLs, invitation links, cloud storage links (Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive), download links, streaming links, membership access links, API keys or credentials (at creator's own risk), and any other URL pointing to lawful external content.
2.4 General Requirements for All Content
- Content must be legal in the creator's jurisdiction and in the United States.
- Content must be accurately described in the title, description, and any preview materials.
- Creators must have the legal right to distribute the content (ownership, license, or authorization).
- Content must deliver genuine value commensurate with the listed price.
- Content must not be designed to deceive, mislead, or defraud buyers in any way.
- Link content must point to functional, accessible URLs at the time of purchase.
- Content must not require buyers to take additional actions (such as further payments) to access the described material, unless clearly disclosed.
3. Prohibited Content
The following categories of content are strictly prohibited on the Platform. This list is non-exhaustive; Monerixa reserves the right to remove any content that, in its sole judgment, violates the spirit of this Policy or poses a risk to users, the Platform, or third parties.
3.1 Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)
Any content that depicts, promotes, glorifies, or facilitates the sexual exploitation or abuse of minors. This includes real imagery, AI-generated imagery, drawings, animations, written content, or any other medium. Monerixa maintains an absolute zero-tolerance policy. Violations are immediately reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement authorities. No warning is given. The associated wallet is permanently banned. We cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations.
3.2 Illegal Material
Content that violates applicable local, state, national, or international law, including but not limited to:
- Content promoting, facilitating, or providing instructions for terrorism, terrorist financing, or violent extremism
- Content promoting, facilitating, or providing instructions for the manufacture, distribution, or use of illegal drugs or controlled substances
- Content promoting, facilitating, or providing instructions for the manufacture of weapons of mass destruction, explosives, or firearms (where prohibited by law)
- Content promoting or facilitating human trafficking, forced labor, or modern slavery
- Content promoting or facilitating illegal gambling operations
- Content that constitutes or facilitates money laundering, sanctions evasion, or terrorist financing
- Content that violates export control laws, including restricted technology, encryption software, or dual-use goods
- Stolen data, credentials, or personally identifiable information obtained through unauthorized access
- Content facilitating identity theft, financial fraud, or forgery
3.3 Malware and Malicious Software
Any software, code, script, or file designed to:
- Damage, disable, overburden, or impair any computer system, network, or device
- Gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data (viruses, trojans, rootkits, backdoors, RATs)
- Encrypt, lock, or hold data for ransom (ransomware)
- Log keystrokes, capture screens, record audio/video, or otherwise surveil users without consent (spyware, keyloggers)
- Mine cryptocurrency without the device owner's knowledge and consent (cryptojackers)
- Generate, distribute, or facilitate denial-of-service attacks (booters, stressers, botnets)
- Exploit vulnerabilities in software, hardware, or protocols for malicious purposes (exploit kits, zero-day exploits)
- Phish, spoof, or impersonate websites, services, or individuals to capture credentials or sensitive data
This prohibition extends to source code, compiled binaries, scripts, configuration files, and instructional materials designed primarily to create or deploy malware. Legitimate security research content (e.g., CVE write-ups, proof-of-concept code for educational purposes) may be permitted at Monerixa's sole discretion, provided it is clearly labeled as security research and does not target active, unpatched vulnerabilities.
All uploaded files are automatically scanned for malware. Content detected as infected is immediately removed. Creators who repeatedly upload infected files (more than 5 lifetime occurrences) will have their upload deposits retained on all subsequent infected uploads, rather than receiving the standard deposit credit-back. This graduated penalty deters abuse while giving honest creators the benefit of the doubt for accidental infections.
3.4 Copyright and Intellectual Property Infringement
Content that infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party, including but not limited to:
- Copyrighted works distributed without authorization from the copyright holder (music, movies, TV shows, books, software, games, images, articles)
- Pirated software, cracked applications, license key generators, or tools designed to circumvent digital rights management (DRM)
- Content that violates trademark rights, including counterfeit goods, unauthorized use of brand names, logos, or trade dress
- Trade secrets or confidential business information obtained through misappropriation
- Content that violates patent rights
- Unauthorized derivative works
Creators are solely responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to distribute all content they upload. "I found it online" or "I modified it slightly" are not valid defenses against infringement claims. For takedown procedures, see our DMCA Policy.
3.5 Fraud, Scam, and Deceptive Content
Content designed to deceive, mislead, or defraud buyers, including but not limited to:
- Content that does not match its title, description, or preview (bait-and-switch)
- Empty, blank, or placeholder content sold at any price
- Content that consists primarily of freely available material repackaged and sold as premium
- Phishing links or URLs designed to capture login credentials, wallet keys, or personal information
- Fake investment schemes, Ponzi/pyramid scheme materials, or get-rich-quick scams
- Fabricated testimonials, fake reviews, or misleading endorsements
- Content that impersonates another creator, brand, or platform
- Price manipulation schemes or artificial urgency tactics based on false information
- Content promising guaranteed financial returns, specific investment outcomes, or risk-free trading strategies
- Links that redirect through malicious intermediaries or inject tracking/malware before reaching the destination
3.6 Doxxing, Harassment, and Threats
Content that targets individuals for harm, including but not limited to:
- Personal information (addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, social security numbers, financial account details) published without the subject's consent
- Content intended to harass, bully, intimidate, or threaten specific individuals
- Content that encourages or coordinates harassment campaigns against individuals or groups
- Revenge pornography or intimate images shared without consent
- Stalking tools, tracking instructions, or content designed to monitor individuals without their knowledge
- Threats of physical violence, sexual violence, or property destruction
- Swatting guides, instructions for filing false police reports, or similar content
- Content designed to damage an individual's reputation through knowingly false statements (defamation)
3.7 Hate Speech and Extremism
Content that promotes hatred, violence, or discrimination against individuals or groups based on:
- Race, ethnicity, or national origin
- Religion or religious beliefs
- Gender, gender identity, or gender expression
- Sexual orientation
- Disability or medical condition
- Age
- Immigration or citizenship status
- Caste or social origin
This includes content that dehumanizes protected groups, promotes supremacist ideologies, denies well-documented atrocities or genocides, or uses slurs and derogatory language in a manner intended to demean or incite hatred.
3.8 Non-Consensual Intimate Content
Any sexually explicit or intimate content depicting real individuals without their verifiable, documented consent. This includes "revenge porn," hidden camera recordings, stolen intimate media, and AI-generated deepfake pornography depicting real individuals. Consent must be contemporaneous — consent given at the time of creation does not constitute consent for commercial distribution on this Platform unless explicitly stated.
3.9 Adult Content and Nudity
Monerixa does not allow sexually explicit or pornographic material of any kind. This includes:
- Sexually explicit images or videos
- Pornographic material, whether professional or amateur
- Graphic nudity intended for sexual arousal
- Explicit sexual descriptions or stories intended for arousal (text paywalls)
This applies regardless of whether the content depicts real individuals, fictional characters, or AI-generated imagery. Artistic nudity in a non-sexual context (e.g., classical art references) may be permitted at Monerixa's sole discretion.
3.10 Dangerous and Harmful Content
Content that promotes or provides instructions for activities posing serious risk of physical harm, including but not limited to:
- Self-harm, suicide methods, or pro-eating-disorder content
- Dangerous challenges or stunts with serious injury risk
- Unproven medical treatments, fake cures, or health misinformation that could cause physical harm
- Instructions for synthesizing dangerous chemicals, poisons, or biological agents
- Content that could directly endanger public safety
3.11 Spam and Platform Abuse
Content or behavior designed to abuse the Platform's systems, including but not limited to:
- Mass uploading of low-quality, duplicate, or auto-generated content
- Content uploaded solely to exploit the deposit system, credit system, or any Platform incentives
- Artificially inflating view counts, purchase counts, or other metrics
- Creating multiple wallets to circumvent bans, rate limits, or quotas
- Automated or bot-driven uploading without authorization
- SEO spam, keyword stuffing, or content designed solely for search engine manipulation
- Uploading content that serves no purpose other than to test or probe the Platform's security (use our responsible disclosure process instead)
3.12 Regulated and High-Risk Content
Content related to heavily regulated industries or activities where distribution through a cryptocurrency paywall creates unacceptable legal or safety risks, including but not limited to:
- Unregistered securities offerings, token sales, or investment contracts
- Prescription medication sales, controlled substance distribution, or pharmaceutical products
- Content requiring age verification beyond what the Platform provides (e.g., alcohol or tobacco marketing in certain jurisdictions)
- Classified government information or content subject to security clearances
- Content subject to court orders, injunctions, or legal holds
4. Content Standards and Accuracy
4.1 Accurate Descriptions
All content must be accurately and honestly described. The title, description, and any preview materials must truthfully represent what the buyer will receive upon payment. Vague, misleading, or intentionally ambiguous descriptions are prohibited. Creators should clearly state the format, length, quality, and scope of the content.
4.2 Fair Pricing
While creators have full discretion over pricing, content priced significantly above its reasonable market value in combination with deceptive descriptions may be treated as a scam. Setting a price does not exempt content from the fraud provisions of Section 3.5.
4.3 Functional Content
All content must be functional at the time of sale. Files must be uncorrupted and openable. Links must point to accessible, working destinations. Text content must be readable and complete. If content becomes non-functional after upload (e.g., a linked resource goes offline), the creator should update or remove the paywall. Monerixa is not responsible for external link availability but may take action against creators who knowingly sell dead links.
4.4 Language and Accessibility
Content may be published in any language. However, titles and descriptions visible to prospective buyers should be in a language the creator's target audience can understand. Content that uses misleading language translations to deceive buyers about its nature or quality is prohibited.
4.5 Content Updates
Creators who edit content after initial upload must ensure that the updated content still accurately matches the title and description. Editing content to replace purchased material with inferior or unrelated content after buyers have paid ("rug-pulling") is a serious violation and will result in enforcement action.
5. Creator Responsibilities
5.1 Legal Compliance
Creators are solely responsible for ensuring their content complies with all applicable laws and regulations in their jurisdiction, the jurisdiction of their buyers, and the United States. Monerixa does not provide legal advice. Creators who upload content in regulated industries (e.g., financial services, healthcare, legal) should consult with appropriate legal counsel.
5.2 Intellectual Property Rights
Creators represent and warrant that they own or have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to distribute all content they upload. This includes rights to all components of the content — text, images, music, code, fonts, datasets, and any other elements. Using Creative Commons, open-source, or licensed content is permitted only in accordance with the applicable license terms, and only if the license permits commercial redistribution.
5.3 Third-Party Rights
Content must not violate the privacy, publicity, or other personal rights of any third party. If content includes identifiable individuals (photographs, videos, audio recordings), creators must have obtained appropriate consent or releases. Creators are responsible for any claims arising from their failure to obtain necessary consents.
5.4 Tax and Regulatory Obligations
Creators are responsible for all tax obligations arising from their sales on the Platform, including income tax, sales tax, VAT, GST, or any other applicable taxes. Monerixa does not withhold, collect, or remit taxes on behalf of creators. Creators should consult with a tax professional regarding their obligations.
5.5 Buyer Protection
Creators must not delete content within the buyer protection cooldown period after the last purchase to prevent "sell-and-delete" scams. Creators who repeatedly create content, sell it, and then quickly delete it to prevent buyer downloads will be subject to enforcement action, including permanent wallet bans.
5.6 Content Maintenance
While Monerixa does not require creators to maintain content indefinitely, creators should set appropriate expiration durations for their paywalls. Content that is no longer accessible or relevant should be removed or updated by the creator. Abandoned content with expired access links may be flagged and removed by the moderation team.
6. Buyer Responsibilities
6.1 Personal Use
Unless explicitly stated otherwise by the creator, purchased content is for the buyer's personal use only. Buyers may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, publicly display, or commercially exploit purchased content without the creator's explicit written permission.
6.2 No Circumvention
Buyers may not attempt to circumvent the paywall, access content without payment, share download tokens or access links with unauthorized users, or use technical measures to bypass access controls. Sharing access tokens or authenticated URLs publicly is a violation of this Policy.
6.3 Reporting Violations
Buyers who receive content that violates this Policy (e.g., content that does not match its description, malicious files, or illegal material) are encouraged to report it immediately via the Report page. Timely reports help us maintain Platform integrity and protect other users.
6.4 Due Diligence
Buyers are responsible for exercising reasonable judgment before purchasing content. While Monerixa takes measures to prevent fraud, we cannot guarantee the quality, accuracy, or legality of all content. Buyers should review available information (title, description, preview) before purchasing and understand that all cryptocurrency payments are final and non-refundable as stated in the Terms of Service.
7. Moderation and Enforcement
7.1 Reporting Mechanisms
Anyone — whether or not they are a Monerixa user — can report content they believe violates this Policy. Reports can be submitted through:
- The Report Abuse page
- The report link available on every paywall page
- The DMCA takedown form for copyright-specific complaints
All reports are reviewed by our moderation team. Reporters may remain anonymous (no wallet connection required to submit a report).
7.2 Automated Protections
Monerixa employs automated systems to help identify and prevent Policy violations, including:
- Text content moderation — Text paywalls are automatically checked against our content policy before the upload is accepted. Severe violations are blocked immediately (before any deposit is charged). Milder concerns are flagged for manual review but allowed.
- Malware scanning — All uploaded files are automatically scanned for malware. Infected files are removed and the creator is notified. Repeated infections result in deposit forfeiture.
- Report threshold auto-hide — Content that accumulates multiple pending abuse reports from distinct reporters is automatically hidden from public view pending manual review. This protects users while allowing the moderation team time to investigate.
- Rate limiting — Upload rate limits per wallet prevent mass spam uploads. Download rate limits prevent token abuse.
- Deposit system — The required USDC deposit for uploading content creates an economic disincentive against spam and throwaway uploads.
- Wallet bans — Banned wallets are prevented from uploading new content at the authentication layer.
7.3 Human Review
All automated enforcement actions (except rate limiting) are subject to human review. Content that is auto-hidden is reviewed by the moderation team. DMCA requests are always manually reviewed before any action is taken. No content is permanently removed by automated systems alone.
7.4 Enforcement Actions
Depending on the severity and nature of the violation, Monerixa may take one or more of the following actions:
- Warning — For minor or first-time violations, the creator may receive a warning and be asked to modify or remove the offending content.
- Content hiding — Content is hidden from public view but not deleted. The creator may be able to modify the content and request reinstatement.
- Content removal — Content is permanently removed from the Platform. Associated files are deleted from our servers. This action is irreversible.
- Temporary suspension — The creator's wallet is temporarily prevented from uploading new content for a specified period.
- Permanent wallet ban — The creator's wallet is permanently banned from uploading content to the Platform. All existing content from the banned wallet may be hidden or removed at our discretion.
- Law enforcement referral — For content involving illegal activity (particularly CSAM, terrorism, and imminent threats of violence), we will report to appropriate law enforcement agencies and cooperate fully with investigations.
7.5 Proportionality
Enforcement actions are proportional to the severity of the violation, the creator's history on the Platform, the apparent intent, and the potential harm to users. First-time violations of minor rules will generally result in a warning, while severe violations (CSAM, malware, fraud) will result in immediate permanent action with no prior warning.
7.6 Deposit and Revenue Impact
Content removed for Policy violations forfeits the associated deposit — removed content is not eligible for deposit credit-back under any circumstances. This applies to all removal reasons including malware detection, DMCA takedowns, and manual moderation actions. Revenue earned from content that violated this Policy may also be subject to forfeiture. Creators who repeatedly upload infected files are subject to the graduated deposit penalty described in Section 3.3. Monerixa reserves the right to withhold or recover payments associated with fraudulent or prohibited content to the extent permitted by law.
8. Appeals Process
8.1 Right to Appeal
Creators whose content has been removed or whose wallets have been banned may submit an appeal if they believe the enforcement action was made in error. Appeals are reviewed by a different member of the moderation team than the one who made the original decision, where possible.
8.2 How to Appeal
To appeal a moderation decision, submit a detailed report via the Report page, clearly identifying your wallet address, the content in question, and a detailed explanation of why you believe the decision was incorrect. Include any supporting evidence (e.g., proof of ownership, licensing documentation, context).
8.3 Appeal Timeline
Appeals should be submitted within thirty (30) days of the enforcement action. Appeals submitted after this period may still be reviewed at Monerixa's discretion but are not guaranteed consideration. We aim to review appeals within fourteen (14) business days, though complex cases may require additional time.
8.4 Finality
The outcome of the appeal review is final. Monerixa is not obligated to provide detailed reasoning for moderation decisions, though we will make reasonable efforts to explain the basis for enforcement actions. Repeated frivolous appeals may result in future appeals being deprioritized.
8.5 No Appeal for Certain Violations
Content removed for CSAM violations, imminent threats of violence, or court-ordered removal is not eligible for appeal. Wallet bans resulting from these categories of violations are permanent and cannot be reversed.
9. Copyright and DMCA
Monerixa complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and responds to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement. Our full DMCA procedures, including how to submit a takedown notice, how we review claims, counter-notification procedures, and our repeat infringer policy, are detailed in our DMCA Policy.
Creators who receive multiple upheld DMCA claims will be treated as repeat infringers and permanently banned from the Platform in accordance with our repeat infringer policy.
10. Cooperation with Law Enforcement
Monerixa cooperates with law enforcement agencies investigating illegal activity on the Platform. We may disclose information about users and content in response to valid legal process, including subpoenas, court orders, and search warrants. We may also proactively report illegal content and activity to relevant authorities, particularly in cases involving:
- Child sexual abuse material (mandatory reporting to NCMEC)
- Terrorism or imminent threats of violence
- Human trafficking
- Sanctions violations
- Other serious criminal activity
Where legally permitted, we will notify affected users of law enforcement requests. Where prohibited by law (e.g., sealed court orders, national security letters), we will comply with applicable non-disclosure requirements.
11. International Considerations
Monerixa is a globally accessible platform. Content that is legal in one jurisdiction may be illegal in another. Creators are responsible for understanding the legal implications of distributing their content internationally. Monerixa applies U.S. law as a baseline and may remove content that violates U.S. law regardless of the creator's jurisdiction.
Monerixa may also restrict access to or remove content in response to legally valid removal requests from foreign jurisdictions, particularly where such content violates widely recognized prohibitions (e.g., hate speech laws in the EU, right-to-be-forgotten requests under GDPR). Such decisions are made on a case-by-case basis.
12. Blockchain and Transparency
Content transactions on Monerixa are verified on the Solana blockchain. While content itself is stored off-chain and can be removed, blockchain transaction records are immutable and cannot be deleted. This means:
- Payment records for removed content will remain on the blockchain even after the content is deleted from our servers.
- Wallet addresses associated with policy violations may be publicly identifiable through on-chain records, even after enforcement actions.
- Monerixa cannot erase blockchain records as part of enforcement actions or in response to deletion requests.
Creators and buyers should be aware of the permanent nature of blockchain records when using the Platform. See our Privacy Policy for more information about blockchain-specific privacy considerations.
13. Changes to This Policy
Monerixa reserves the right to modify this Content Policy at any time. Changes become effective immediately upon posting the revised Policy with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage users to review this Policy periodically. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
For material changes that significantly expand the categories of prohibited content or enforcement actions, we will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice, such as a banner on the Platform. However, changes required by law or made to address imminent safety concerns may take effect immediately without prior notice.
